One think I note is that my account page that is linked to my playstation account doesn't show my eso plus, any of my crown packs I've bought, the chapters I've bought etc. I'm not sure if that is because they are going through the sony store and therefor not showing as bought on my subscription or billing history pages

Following up on Studio Director Matt Firor’s message last month about the current and future status of Crown Store Gifting, we are moving forward with re-enabling this functionality for eligible players at the account level.

I can't honestly say I "get it" - turning off an entire system because a small number of your player base is potentially abusing it seems like overkill to me. It's also frustrating on a personal level - I often gift Crown Store items as competition prizes in the Sunfire's Sect trading guild (PC/EU), or between my accounts.
