Hi, when my Fitbit has no battery left, it doesn’t charge. When it has a little bit of battery left, I never had a problem with charging. I’ve had this problem before, after 2 weeks not using it, I tried again and it charged again. Since then I never let my Fitbit entirely run out off battery, so had no issues.
